But the other parameters of the method are injection points. For example: public void observeObject(@Observes SomeEventType event, SomeBeanType bean) { ... } @Observes SomeEventType event - is an event parameter (not an injection point) SomeBeanType bean - is an injection point. See 10. Events. Steps to reproduce. 1. Create some observer: class EventTypeFamilyObserver { ... public void observeObject(@Observes Object event, Object foo) { ... } } 2. Ctrl+Click on event parameter. The should NOT be "Open Injected Bean" option. 3. Ctrl+Click on foo parameter.
