I think there are two issues here:
1) why does .java files suddenly appear ? (before we just had duplicated .class files
which is much more ok!)
2) why does running the war the first time not work ?

where is the /dev folder ?
where are the .class'es and how come there is .java in there ?
where are the right /classes content ?
