4) there is a sence to add @Column for every String property - the main reason here:
by default column length is 255 - for most cases this will be too long value and it will
necessary to
modify it by hands if shorter field required.

currently I see the sence add @MappedSuperclass annotation for base class instead of or
together with @Entity annotation;
in case when the class has offsprings - there is a big sence to have @MappedSuperclass
annotation by default.
Some other ideas?
