Dmitry Geraskov commented on JBIDE-12215:
-----------------------------------------
Jiri created this issue ;)
And yes, persistence.xml is updated only on new JPA project creation time.
I can't guarantee this as I have to do this in facet install delegate which could be
called on existing project, but I check some preconditions (like absence of console
configuration, absence of some emenets in persistent.xml structure) to minimize
possibility of "old" persistent.xml update.
Persistence.xml is updated with connection profile information
automatically

Key: JBIDE-12215
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-12215
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: hibernate
Affects Versions: 3.3.0.CR1
Reporter: Jiri Peterka
Assignee: Dmitry Geraskov
Fix For: 3.4.0.M1
Currently persistence.xml doesn't contain connection information when created with
New JPA Project with Using Hibernate platform.
Desired behaviour would be to use connection profile information to update
persistence.xml connection values by default.
