1. Install JBDS 4.1.1.GA (H751). If running an older version, update to latest from 4.0
update site
2. Start it up, and do Help > Install new software
3. Select (or add) the site http://devstudio.jboss.com/updates/4.0/
4. Check boxes "Hide items that are already installed" and "Group items by
category"
5. When site loads, you'll see a category for JBoss SWT Patches
6. Expand that category, and select the patches for your OS (eg., Win 32). Install.
7. Restart when prompted.
8. Help > Install new software >
http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/requirements/mylyn/3.6.2-v20...
9. Uncheck "Group items by category" to reveal features on the site. Select only
Mylyn Task List (org.eclipse.mylyn_feature).
10. Restart when prompted. JBDS should not crash.

install everything on there as well as everything on the Mylyn site.
12. Restart when prompted. JBDS should not crash.
Result is that Subclipse and Mylyn can now both be installed in JBDS 4.1.1 w/o crashing

I had installed the 4.0GA version of Jboss Dev Studio, created a sample project. Later I
restarted the Studio after attempting to install a few plugins (I believe Subclipse).
Every time afterwards, it would launch the studio , the UI would launch with code
windows, and then the studio would crash to desktop in less than a second afterwards.
I do have dump eclipse files that can be attached to this issues.
Note: I am able to open the same workspace without any issues using the STS eclipse IDE.
