Adding icon and metadata to the electron .exe is pretty simple:

But to add things to the 7zipsfx installer, we need resource hacker. Been having problems
making that work because async file processes & a faulty icon cache made it look like
what I was doing wasn't in fact working. :(

Based on feedback from [~pmuir], [~tmancini] and [~crobson] we'll go for using the
brackets logo for the big Developer Platform installers (56M stub and 1.6G bundled).
