Csaba Toth commented on JBIDE-12403:
------------------------------------
This seems to be a broader issue than just SOA-P or EAP.
My system:
- Ubuntu 11.10 64 bit
- OpenJDK 1.6 latest
- Eclipse Juno
- Developer branch of JBossTools for Juno
I'm trying to add and start a JBoss 4.2.3.GA-jdk6, and I also get the "invalid
option – s" error.
What is notable difference (and in case of Lucia it appear explicitly) between the Indigo
JBT and Juno version, is the extra "-server" VM argument _and_ program argument.
In case of VM arguments it comes right after the program.name variable, but I could remove
it. This wasn't there in Indigo. I could not remove the "-server" however
from the program arguments. It is appended at the end of the arguments and if I remove it,
it appears again.
Cannot start a server with JBT on eclipse Juno
