Cause can be Code generation can't recognize database structure (primary keys and columns). Steps: 1. Create dynamic web project (jboss-eap rt) 2. Create hibernate console and configuration (hsql database) 3. Try to generate entities via "Hibernate Code Generation Configuration -> Reverse engineer from JDBC Connection" 4.
