Jim Tyrrell commented on JBIDE-6459:
------------------------------------
Okay so I guess the question is how do you rectify the package structure that is inherit
to a java object and the package structure in BRMS. Somehow there has to be some meeting
of the minds in which I can right click on a fact/pojo/java class developed in JBDS and
get it into BRMS and vice versa.
Fact Importing into BRMS
------------------------
Key: JBIDE-6459
URL:
https://jira.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-6459
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Feature Request
Affects Versions: 3.2.0.M1
Environment: All
Reporter: Jim Tyrrell
Assignee: Denny Xu
Fix For: LATER
It should be possible to right click on a Fact/POJO and simply add it to the BRMS/GOVNOR
without having to go through the process of exporting a jar file, and importing it.
Currently the process is:
Create the java pojo. Maybe several of these.
Then export this as a jar file with the classes in it.
Then go into BRMS and import the jar file exported above.
Then you need to do some more work in the BRMS.
It would be nice to just right click on the java file or really the whole project, and
say add or import and not have to do different things based on the type of artifact that
you are editing. Of course this then blurs the line between cvs, svn, etc and JCR and
BRMS.
