Martin Malina commented on JBIDE-12063:
---------------------------------------
You are right, after installing JBoss Runtime Detection Core, it works as expected. Thanks
for the screenshots and explanation. We (Dominik and I) were looking in JBoss Web and Java
EE Development category and when we found the AS Runtime Detection feature, we assumed
that was all there was.
Runtime detection is not available when installed separately

Key: JBIDE-12063
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-12063
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Bug
Components: runtime detection
Affects Versions: 3.3.0.CR1
Environment:
jbosstools-3.3_stable_branch.aggregate-Update-2012-05-27_14-14-33-H161.zip
Reporter: Martin Malina
Assignee: Snjezana Peco
Fix For: 3.3.0.CR1
Attachments: jbide-12063.png, jbide-12063a.png, jbide-12063b.png,
jbide-12063c.png
Feel free to set the fix version accordingly, but this seems quite serious.
When you try to install only these three features on a clean Eclipse Indigo SR2 JEE:
JBossAS Tools
Seam Tools
JBoss Runtime AS Detector
finish the installation, restart Eclipse and then go to Preferences -> JBoss Tools,
there is no JBoss Tools Runtime Detection available.
The runtime detection feature can be seen in the installation details.
