Lukas Jungmann commented on JBIDE-8821:
---------------------------------------
I see the reason for this dialog. I only don't think that asking user two questions
for which the answer can be different and giving him only one yes/no option is OK. I had
to read everything three times to find out correct meaning of the check box (maybe
that's just because I'm not a native speaker).
What do you think about following wording:
You have selected a different servlet version than in project's web.xml file. Would
you like to convert web.xml file to servlet version 2.4? Please note that during
conversion you might lose some web.xml information that is not available in the new
version as well as formatting or comments.
[x] Save a copy of your current web.xml file as web.xml.2.4.old
[ Yes ] [ No ]
remove confusing checkbox from the add jsf capabilities warning
dialog

Key: JBIDE-8821
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-8821
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Bug
Components: JSF
Affects Versions: 3.2.1.M1
Reporter: Lukas Jungmann
Assignee: Alexey Kazakov
Attachments: screenshot.png
-create a dynamic web app for JBoss AS 6 (Java EE 6)
-generate web.xml for the project
-add JSF capabilities (using project node's context menu -> configure -> add
JSF Capabilities
-press finish
=> warning dialog appears (see attached screenshot) - in the dialog there is confusing
checkbox next to the question "Do you want to save a copy..." - since we are
asking user to take some action and giving him yes/no/cancel options, why the checkbox
there is needed?
