Seam QE always verifies seam examples with the current EAP 5 distribution. Although Seam examples should work on all EAP ASs, it doesn't mean that if you have newer JBoss AS runtime from EAP 5 and Seam example built in previous EAP 5 release (e.g. 5.1.0) the old bundled jars in Seam example doesn't cause deployment/functional failure on newer EAP JBoss AS runtime. I don't like it as you, but it is a reality. Seam example works 100% only with aligned library versions from current JBoss EAP release.
