sorry, but i can't really follow your reasoning.
"I don't see right-clicking to access the menu as a huge issue" -- i do and
that's the whole point with this report.
i got significantly more situations where i have to publish fully which takes
significantly more time because of the key/click sequence necessary -- and from a
usability point of view it is incomprehensible why incremental publish deserves its own
button, full does not.
allow single click publish

to publish incremental or full, several clicks are necessary:
expand server -> select project -> select menu entry -> click.
eve if the project is preselected, right click -> select entry -> click is still
required.
it would be nice, if those task could be solved by a single clik -- like the
"publish to server" icon, which could be active even if a project is selected.
