Nick Boldt commented on JBIDE-8142:
-----------------------------------
Cannot complete the install because of a conflicting dependency.
Software being installed: Eclipse SDK 3.6.2.M20110105-0951 (org.eclipse.sdk.ide
3.6.2.M20110105-0951)
Software currently installed: Eclipse IDE for Java EE Developers 1.3.1.20100916-1202
(epp.package.jee 1.3.1.20100916-1202)
Why were you trying to update from JEE to "Classic" SDK? That's never
allowed because of the whole feature-depends-on-other-features issue that p2 has. You can
do a JEE to new JEE update, but not a JEE to different uberfeature ("Classic"
SDK feature) update.
Nothing in the stack trace suggests that this dep is being brought in from any JBT plugin
or feature you're installing, so the issue must be that you're trying to update
Eclipse itself somehow.
JBoss Tools nightly update site seem to bring in features conflicting
with EPP bundles

Not sure where such conflict is coming from but wanted to record this in case it evolves
to something problematic.
I'm downloading various EPP distros to see if I can reproduce it on a clean setup.
