Libor Zoubek commented on JBIDE-6079:
-------------------------------------
I just want the wizard to run when java project is selected. Wizard should behave same in
both (Situation 1 and 2)
Current behaviour :
Situation 1:
workspace:
* project A (DynamicWebProject)
* project B (JavaProject) (currently selected in PE)
File->New-Other->Create a Sample Web Service.
Click Next ... bad behaviour, nothing happens, errors in log
Situation 2:
workspace:
* project A (DynamicWebProject) (currently selected in PE)
* project B (JavaProject)
File->New-Other->Create a Sample Web Service.
Click Next, can select project ( lists DynWebProjects only) where to add Web Service. That
is OK
I think error message is not necessary. The wizard should be independent on the selection
in PE. It should only suggest currently selected project to add WS into (as it does now)
When you have JavaProject as the only one in workspace and attempt to create a sample web
service it should behave same as if you attempt it on completely clean workspace.
Creating Sample Web service fails on Java Project
-------------------------------------------------
Key: JBIDE-6079
URL:
https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBIDE-6079
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Webservices
Affects Versions: 3.1.0.GA
Reporter: Libor Zoubek
Attachments: .log
When I create Jboss Tools->Sample Web Service and the only project in my workspace is
classic java project, errors in log appear
1. Use clean workspace
2. Create 'Java Project'
3. Try to create 'Jboss Tools->Sample Web Service' by selecting it in tree.
4. Errors in log appear and you can't even click "Next >'
Truth is, that maybe it does not make real sense, to create web service in Java Project,
but this should not happen. I'll attach log
