Yes, it works!!! I had the same problem on Ubuntu 7.10 and JBoss AS 4.2.x
Just added "127.0.0.1 achabatar" line to /etc/hosts
and used:
jdk1.5.0_13
OS-System: Linux 2.6.22-14-generic,i386
checked on:
3.2.5
4.0.2
4.0.5
4.2.2

P.S I can start it before in this build but now I can't. Maybe I can't start it
after reinstalling libXP.i386 . I have verified running server on VM without this changes
it starts.
