Why are the 4.x.y.Final-SNAPSHOT parent poms no longer good enough? Also, if we start publishing 4.x.y.Final parent poms instead of 4.x.y.Final-SNAPSHOT parent poms, you'll have to immediately switch from the SNAPSHOT version to the release version as Nexus will garbage-collect the SNAPSHOT version when the release is done. So, right after doing the 4.x.y.Final parent pom release, builds that depend on the 4.x.y.Final-SNAPSHOT version will break & will need to be updated to use the 4.x.y.Final version. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v7.2.3#72005)
