Closing rejected. Patch won't work as we still need to generate source zip for legal,
and collecting upstream update site zips is still IMHO handy to do for auditing.
Reopen if you disagree or open subtasks to tackle smaller perf tuning aspects of the
uberscript. :D

the aggregation script (build.xml) performs a lot of magic, such as collecting zips and
source zips.
Some steps may be obsolete and no more necessary, we should clean it to save execution
time.
