So in all versions, "" and "." must retain those values for backwards compatibility. This means that in a version 1.0 descriptor, using the workspace dialog and selecting the current project, "" is a proper response. This is preferable over /pinktowel because "" has no reference to the project name and is usable even when the same project is imported twice but named different things.
