Isaac Rooskov commented on JBDS-1648:
-------------------------------------
Hey Len, Max and Nick.
Can I get some clarification on which OSs this actually impacts. Nick mentions that
it's only Windows 7 64bit in the release note text section and the workaround. However
in this thread Vista 64bit was also mentioned by Jaroslav. Then Max mentions that the real
issue is actually described in the Eclipse bug 333630, but in that bug Nick only mentions
trouble with Windows 7 32bit.

I had installed the 4.0GA version of Jboss Dev Studio, created a sample project. Later I
restarted the Studio after attempting to install a few plugins (I believe Subclipse).
Every time afterwards, it would launch the studio , the UI would launch with code
windows, and then the studio would crash to desktop in less than a second afterwards.
I do have dump eclipse files that can be attached to this issues.
Note: I am able to open the same workspace without any issues using the STS eclipse IDE.
