Attached thread dump does not show that main thread is locked, it is running.
Yura, if you reproduce the problem, could you add more dumps?
Do you reproduce problem with your use case on different platforms?

for reproduce this for test case you should :
1.place cursor in <rich:menuItem ... />
2.in Properties view click on row "iconStyle"
3. click on button "..."
4.Click "Ok" button
only restart eclipse will help.
