Denny Xu commented on JBIDE-2545:
---------------------------------
-> Window -> Preferences -> Web Services -> Server and Runtime:
Server: JBoss 4.2
Web service runtime: JBossWS
the steps are for setting the default Server and default Web Service runtime, when
creating a Web Service, the default server should be JBoss 4.2 and Web service runtime
should be JBossWS
and you also can change the server and WS runtime. Do you mean after you set the default
server to JBoss 4.2 at the preference page and the default Server still appear as Tomcat
6.0 when creating Web Service?
JBossWS-Tools: Eclipse's Preferences not fully considered

Key: JBIDE-2545
URL:
https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBIDE-2545
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Webservices
Affects Versions: 3.0.0.alpha
Environment: Eclipse 3.4.1 M20080716, WTP 3.0.1 M20080710, JBossTools nightly
20080717
Reporter: Juergen Zimmermann
Fix For: 3.0.0.beta1
Web services can be configured as follows:
-> Window -> Preferences -> Web Services -> Server and Runtime:
Server: JBoss 4.2
Web service runtime: JBossWS
So far so good. Now I have an EJB module with a session bean to be exposed as a web
service. I'm invoking:
-> <right click> -> Other -> Web Service:
-> Configuration:
Server: Tomcat 6.0 [instead of the preconfigured JBoss
4.2 !!!]
Web service runtime: JBossWS [ok: see configuration above]
