I checked this one in sources and it should be fine, it is probably was related to
"To many files open" Exception on my desktop. I tried to replicate it after
reboot and it works for me now.
BPEL Process editor is not associated with *.bpel files

.bpel files in resources tree look like text files. There is no bpel icon associated with
file.
