I tried this on my windows box. My default jdk / jre did not have the server JVM in the
jvm.dll file. Therefore it cannot be the default. Sorry.

When the JBossAS server is started then the Java VM is started in default mode (i.e.
"-client").
However, the Java VM option "-server" would be useful.
