Viacheslav Kabanovich commented on JBIDE-8756:
----------------------------------------------
Bug reported to Eclipse bugzilla
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=343328. It
describes reproducing disappearing web.xml with standard Dynamic Web Project with one
additional linked folder WEB-INF referencing WebContent/WEB-INF.
In view of this it is not recommended now to use import with checked 'Create Eclipse
project in workspace'. Workaround - just check it off. Eclipse will directly point to
the project without links.
Importing a standard JSF project from outside the workspace produces
infinite build

Key: JBIDE-8756
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-8756
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Bug
Components: JSF
Affects Versions: 3.2.0.Final
Environment: JBoss 3.2
Ubuntu
Reporter: Max Katz
Assignee: Viacheslav Kabanovich
Fix For: 3.2.1, 3.3.x
Import a standard JSF project from outside the workspace
Project is imported fine, however it goes into some sort of infinite build problem. See
screen shot.
In one instance, the web.xml file was deleted as well (copying it back, the file would be
deleted again)

There are no problem when the project is imported from within the workspace.
