Additional info.
For seam runtime 1.2 - War projects TestNG for action fails. For EAR actions testNG works
fine.
Seam 2.1.0 runtime and Seam 2.0.1 - both WAR and EAR testNG for actions works.

Apparently myfaces jar are no longer in seam lib instead there are jsf RI jars....so we
dont run against the right jars.
Any seam action test should fail.
