Create J2EE project as described here http://tinyurl.com/gojavaee 2. Import this project as maven project Project is imported with error. See attached screenshot. The same error occurs when importing J2EE project to clean Eclispe with m2e installed from our composite site http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/indigo/RC2 When using m2eclipse from http://m2eclipse.sonatype.org/sites/m2e or m2e from http://download.eclipse.org/technology/m2e/milestones/1.0 together with clean eclipse J2EE project is imported without errors
