Not sure how you expect us to detect its needed ?
What you are seeing is that when you connect your hibernate configuration it gets a
connection and that one doesn't see the changes you made somewhere in a seperate
transaction (that is my guess!)
What database are you using ?

when generating a schema from generate tables from entities, the file is only generated
once,.
if i change anything in the classes (like table name,columns etc..) attempting to
generate again, will not change the file
only restarting eclipse will do so.
