I guess this is doable.
And there are no much difference between horizontal and vertical splitting, so we could
implement this feature for both of them.

When Horizontal splitting with the Source Editor is set it would be nice to have switch
to have row locking to keep the corresponding visual element on the same row as in source
part and via versa.
