Here's a sneak peak of how that will look: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBDS-2046 Basically, users need only browse the list of available connectors (a connector is a collection of features/plugins to be installed via Central in a single operation), select them, agree to the license terms, and then install them, restarting JBDS when prompted. There is also currently a staging site for the 5.0.0.M5 bits, which can be used to test the plugins as installed into Eclipse or JBDS the old way (via Help > Install new software > https://devstudio.jboss.com/updates/5.0/staging/soa-tooling/).
