Martin Malina commented on JBDS-1781:
-------------------------------------
This issue was verified by Dominik (dpospisi) with
jbdevstudio-product-linux-gtk-4.1.1.v201109080253R-H679-M1.jar today.
Conclusion: When you install JBDS in Ubuntu, it appears in the applications menu (after
log out/log in), but it's the non-working shortcut - no menu visible. However, the
script (jbdevstudio-unity) is present in the install dir and is working correctly when
used explicitly.
Question: Is this considered correct behavior? Why can't we just add the variable for
every start of JBDS even if it's not Unity and not have a separate script? It surely
shouldn't break anything. Or if we already know how to add the menu item in Ubuntu
(which I assume is different then on other linux distros) should we add the proper
shortcut in this case?
All menus but one are missing on Ubuntu 11.04 (Unity)
