I have it working locally under ubuntu 9.04. I downloaded and installed it form http://porkchop.devel.redhat.com/released/RHEL-5-JBEWS/1.0.0-errata/zip/x... and followed to attached documentation. I did it step by step for zip distribution installation. I had to: 1. remove ssl.conf because it would require additional libraries 2. Had to create several links to lib* files in /lib folder to make httpd up without errors 3. Configured tomcat6 that comes with EWS zip mentioned above as it says in attached doc Here is what I've got. Runtime and server can be created for tomcat that is defined in jk_mod configuration because it pure tomcat, just without examples and admin application, I cannot see any problems here. All created application are available trough http://localhost:8080 directly from tomcat. To see them through apache mod_jk configuration should be updated.
