henk de boer commented on JBIDE-6024:
-------------------------------------
I just had this happening again, but this time without having started my server before.
What I did was the following:
1) Started up Eclipse.
2) Synchronized my ear project with SVN and let it update some 12 resources in the web
module.
3) Worked on 3 files in my project, added 2 files.
4) [may or may not be important] : went out to lunch, came back 2 hours later.
5) Did a little more editing in the files I added 2 hours ago.
6) Started up JBoss AS.
7) Startup failed
Upon inspecting of the deployment, it appears that everything in the web module is gone
except for the files that had incoming changes from SVN and the files I edited. All those
files are in the right location (right path) inside the ear and war, but everything else
in the war is just gone. Unfortunately, I haven't checked the existing deployment
right after I started Eclipse, but at least last time I closed Eclipse the deployment was
still intact.
JBoss AS adapter deploys only recently changed files and removes
everithing else

Key: JBIDE-6024
URL:
https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBIDE-6024
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Bug
Components: JBossAS
Affects Versions: 3.1.0.CR2
Environment: JBoss Tools 3.1.0.GA candidate v201003050540R-H56-GA
Reporter: Denis Golovin
Assignee: Rob Stryker
Priority: Blocker
Fix For: 3.1.1
The steps to replicate the issue are explained in this post
http://community.jboss.org/message/526847#526847.
I cannot confirm yet but it looks like problem should be replicated for any project after
couple hours of waiting.
I was able to get the same problems after I tried to change ad deploy files after 4
hours. Now it happens every time even after restoring deployment with Full Publish action
