this needs to be looked at - if too long timeouts and no way of cancelling (even just
virtually and put the timeout thread in the background to die on its own) it will be very
annoying to use since very few places is there stable interenet (conferences, classrooms,
hotels and other places where you want to be fast in/fast out being well known for bad
internet ;)

I have troubles with background job, which deploys to remote server. If connection gets
interrupted during deployment, job gets stuck. I am not able to even close eclipse because
of this job.
Is it possible to influence things like connection timeouts etc?
