Jason Holmes commented on JBIDE-464:
------------------------------------
What I imagined is a Publish on the server would be a full publish of all modules in it.
A Publish on an individual module would be a full publish of that module.
What else would be cool is if you had an expanded war - that it would do a publish of
javascript, css and jsp files without having to do a whole redeploy. But if you changed a
java class, then a redeploy would occur. Currently it appears to be redeploying everytime
something is changed - which is nice for seeing the updates - but sucks when you have to
restart a business cycle all over again.
Right-click Publish in JBoss Server View Does Nothing

Key: JBIDE-464
URL:
http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBIDE-464
Project: JBoss IDE
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: JBossAS Adapter
Affects Versions: 2.0.0.Beta2
Environment: Windows XP, Eclipse 3.2.2
Reporter: Jason Holmes
Assigned To: Robert Stryker
I use the JBoss Server View to Start/Stop my JBoss server. If I right click on the
server and select Publish, nothing happens. I expected it would go through and publish
all modules that are currently in the server.
Instead, I have to go to each module I want to install, and publish it manually.
