I can't reproduce ;(
Could you let us know if it is *only* the EL expression lilnking that disappears or also
all other links that stop working ? e.g. class types in java code ?
Does the identifier actually get underlined and it is just the "click" that is
not working ?

Eventually it stops working.
F3 *does* seem to always work.
