This is a complex problem that is going to take some time to fix, with minimal
benefit...in other words, I don't have time to work on this before the June release
because there are more important things to do before then, so I'm pushing this to 3.3

Original Description: The editor leaves out the createInstance="yes|no"
attribute for the pick activity. This attribute must be present, especially when pick is
the first activity in the process.
Leaving this JIRA open to address the validation problem related to parallel processing
(see my comment from 03/Sep/10 09:48 AM).
