If you check as.core plugin.xml you'd see both variables exist.

Both are present.
I've also removed the deployment "section" from the first page and have
consolidated all deployment things on the second. If / when we get ssh deployment, that
will get its own tab on the second page and thus be consolidated there as well.
Please re-open if you have any suggestions on how to fix / clarify the ui in any way.

Create a Modules page in the server editor where you can specify the deployment location
of each module you'll be deploying. This is due to the usecase where you need one
module deployed to the default server location (for guaranteed early startup) but another
to the separated metadata or custom location.
