Denis Golovin reopened JBDS-455:
--------------------------------
Several thoughts:
1. That's not right using JBoss AS adapter versions in version box, because mapping
from Server version to adapter version is not obvious. Version should be extracted from
jboss-system.jar file form 'Specification-Version:' manifest property.
2. The same jboss-system.jar file can be used to verify, that user has selected right
folder.
3. Selected version should be converted to adapter version that will be used during first
startup to configure server runtimes and server instances in eclipse.
4. Layout for dialog looks ugly and should be fixed (done locally)
5. Server List component should be separated from IzPalel to allow test it locally (done
locally)
6. JUnit Tests should be added to map selected server version to adapter version
I have several questions:
1. If there is no jboss-system.jar found in selected directory should we allow to setup
all properties manually or just show the error and ask to select right path?
2. It version of selected server cannot be mapped to adapter version should we allow to
add such server to the list?
Common versions for all types (JBoss AS, EAP and SOA-P) when select
already installed AP while installation.
