[~mmurray] I reformulated the issue summary to replace the "*" by a
"i"-icon as shown in the screenshot. I'm not sure though if that's
really beneficial, to me a "*" is more explicit (since widely used in
web-forms), isnt it?

In New OpenShift Application wizard, the following have * (asterisk) at the beginning:
* use existing application check box
* name field
* type field
This should be the (i) icon (blue i in a circle) like in Window>Install New Software
wizard.
There maybe more in the wizard but I haven't got past the first page.
