I assume that "Java 1.5 set as default" means only Java 1.5 items are selected
in Java Preferences dialog like this

Info.plist of jbdevstudio.ini file can be used to configure which JVM from selected in
Java Preferences should be used. As I noticed JVM configuration in Info.plist have
priority over configuration in jbedvstudio.ini file.
If only one JVM is selected in Java Preferences (1.5 in our scenario), I couldn't find
a way to force use different one.
If set as default, java 1.5 is used even if 1.6 is chosen during
installation
