Jiri Peterka commented on JBIDE-6193:
-------------------------------------
Brian, Xue, I ment this situation:
1. You have complete smooks configuration
2. After that you decide to add some field into java class bean
3. AFAIK to use this field in smooks editor you have 2 possibilities:
a) use XML editor
b) in GEF editor, remove bean and map everything again
What I would like to see in GEF editor is some context menu item for example "Refresh
Model" which updates java bean model to current state and already created mapping
will stay kept.
Refresh functionality for beans used in smooks editor
-----------------------------------------------------
Key: JBIDE-6193
URL:
https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBIDE-6193
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: smooks
Affects Versions: 3.1.0.GA
Environment: JBDS 3.0.0 GA #50
Reporter: Jiri Peterka
Assignee: Xue Peng
Fix For: 3.2.next
When bean source code is modified (for example some field is added etc.) bean must be
removed (with all bindings and added again). It would be great to have something like
refresh possibility what would update graphical model to actual state.
