Andre Dietisheim commented on JBIDE-12811:

Yes afaik this is the way it is supposed to work. Wrote my text before I got to know in
details how it works. It already worked like this in Alpha2, the username could not be
changed in the server editor. Plz double check on your side and prove me wrong...
use connection host and username in server editor

Key: JBIDE-12811
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-12811
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Sub-task
Components: openshift
Affects Versions: 4.0.0.Alpha2
Reporter: Andre Dietisheim
Assignee: Andre Dietisheim
Fix For: 4.0.0.Beta1
Attachments: server-editor-connection.png, server-editor.png
Since we now want to support multiple OpenShift (PaaS-) servers in OpenShift for JBoss
Tools (JBIDE-12168), we now also have to support a server setting in the server adapter
editor. It doesn't currently:
!server-editor.png!
We decided to provide a combo that would list the existing connections (= username +
server)
