Cássio Mazzochi Molin edited comment on JBIDE-18697 at 10/23/14 7:30 AM:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm using:
- Oracle jdk1.8.0_20 x64
- Windows 7 x64 (on Windows 8 x64 I realized the same issue)
- WildFly 8.1.0 downloaded from
http://download.jboss.org/wildfly/8.1.0.Final/wildfly-8.1.0.Final.zip
- Eclipse JEE Luna SR1 for Windows x64 downloaded from
http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/technology/epp/downlo...
Steps to reproduce this issue:
- Install all JBoss Tools 4.2.0.Final modules from marketplace
- Create a Runtime Environment:
- Window > Preferences... > Server > Runtime Environments > Add...
- Select WildFly 8.x Runtime
- Next
- Set Home Directory (my WildFly's directory is C:\wildfly-8.1.0.Final)
- Select a Execution Environment or an Alternate JRE pointing to an Oracle jdk1.8.0_20
x64
- Finish
- Create a new server from Servers view:
- Select WildFly 8.x
- Next
- Use default options (server is local, controlled by filesystem and shell operations,
using WildFly 8.x Runtime created on the last step)
- Finish
- Create a Dynamic Web Project with the default options
- Create a simple servlet
- On Servers view, add the project to the server (WildFly 8.x)
- Start the server
- Change the servlet code
- On Servers view, make a publish and the error should occur
I also tested with other Eclipse and other JBoss Tools versions and I reproduced the
issue.
