Jay Balunas commented on JBIDE-10319:
-------------------------------------
The use-case for this is related to verifying and testing mobile web applications from
devices on your local network.
Today users need to hunt around to find out how to make JBoss AS accept remote
connections, then they need to hunt around for how to make those changes in JBoss Tools (
the steps above ).
A checkbox saying "Accept remote connections" when you are defining a server, or
even as an option in the server view would be awesome!
Need to have more explicit form to handle -b 0.0.0.0

Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: JBossAS/Servers
Reporter: Max Rydahl Andersen
Assignee: Rob Stryker
Fix For: 3.3.0.Beta1
currently the workaround is to set host to 0.0.0.0 but then run as does not work since it
doesn't know which server that is.
Should be an option on the server/launch editor to control this.
Default to host, but also have a way to set it explicitly.
