Yeah, I saw this too. It would be great if the installer helps to set up
maven.repository.redhat.com as a part of JBDS installation. But this is not for April 19th
release anyway.
*Workaround*: use the quick fix on the missing dependency.

After using the Installer, I select Red Hat Central, OpenShift Application,
eap64-basic-sti which then imports the kitchensink project into my workspace, it
immediately has compile errors
