The same error occurs when importing J2EE project to clean Eclispe with m2e installed from our composite site http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/indigo/RC2 When using m2eclipse from http://m2eclipse.sonatype.org/sites/m2e or m2e from http://download.eclipse.org/technology/m2e/milestones/1.0 together with clean eclipse J2EE project is imported without errors
