Create hibernate code generation configuration with name XXX 2. New->console configuration file 3. next 4. select "create a console configuration" checkbox 5. exter XXX as configuration name see that error doesn't appears(because we haven't such console configuration, but we have other launch configuration with the same name) 6. press finish see that generated configuration has name XXX (1) - not equals user input. If we create console configuration first, and after this try to create exporter configuration with the same name - wizard prevent us to do this.
