I don't think our Japanese translators have done a formal review of these
translations, but Jens Petersen has had a brief look at the PO files, and they look sane
to him. I have been adding NON-TRANSLATABLE comments to the base English properties
files, so the conversion process will be able to eliminate any translations for values
which aren't meant to be translated. I think Nogami-san mentioned another problem
area: very short strings may be mis-translated in some cases. These are probably best
picked up by testing the Japanese translations in their proper context (ie runtime).
In view of the above, and since I don't want these contributed translations to be
stuck in limbo, I have checked them into the source tree, where they can be built into the
JBoss Tools plugins.

I have translated JBossTools properties into Japanese, which is based on
JBossTools-ALL-win32-3.0.0.GA-R200903040656-H10.
(1) These Japanese properties are generated by using the open source tool :
blancoNLpackGenerator (http://www.igapyon.jp/blanco/blanconlpackgenerator.html).
This tool is also used for generateing Eclipse 3.4.x Japanese Language Pack ,
and the generated Eclipse 3.4.x Japanese Language Pack have been contributed
to the Eclipse BABEL Project.
(2) I have added translation resources (OASIS XLIFF format) of JBossTools-3.0.0
for blancoNLpackGenerator input, which is located at
http://svn.sourceforge.jp/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/trans/JBossTools-XLIFF/?roo...
in JJBug (Japan JBoss User Group) repository.
(3) Some of JBossTools plugins, Hibernate tools and Drools tools etc. are not translated
yet.
The translation status are described in the tool-generated result report:
