Whatever you use soap or http protocol in the binding, you need not to set the
'required' attibute. If you set, it is not valid.
Maybe it is a bug or shortage of wsdl editor. But the wsdl editor is from WTP, not our
jboss tools.

If I the value of the property required="true", the WSDL editor says that there
is an error into WSDL file.
